Starts "On that cold and dark cloudy evenin', Just before the close of day, There came Harry Lyle and Dillard." Recounts the actual story of a C & O train plunging into the James River near Clifton Forge, Virginia on January 3, 1925. Carson Robison wrote this song under his "Carlos B. McAfee" pseudonym.
