aka "Monroe's Quickstep". Old-Time, quickstep fiddle tune first recorded by fiddler Leonard Rutherford and his partner, guitarist John D. Foster (as by Rutherford & Foster) on January 14, 1929. It released by Gennett as "Taylor's Quickstep" and simultaneously on the budget Supertone label as "Monroe's Quickstep" (under the artist pseudonymn, Fox and Davis). Rutherford wasn't credited on the release and it's usually credited as a Traditional, but he may have actually composed the piece.
