- “My Little Foal Named Fákur” was first performed on the Icelandic children’s television programme "Stundin okkar" in december 1967 with lyrics about a foal named Fákur. The lyricist Bjarnason decided to feature a horse instead of a reindeer and thus bring it closer to the reality of Icelandic children.
