This was a big hit for Red Foley in 1949. His version was released before Bill Haley's version. (Haley's recording was reviewed in the April 2, 1949 issue of Billboard. Foley's recording had been on the charts for over a month at that time.)

Red Foley version added, although based on the link, the February 1949 date is date of recording, rather than issue date. Thanks for the submission.

Actually the link has both the recording date and the month the single was issued.
