Posthumous release including Ellington's three suites:
"The Queens Suite" (six parts, recorded February 25, April 1 and April 4, 1959),
"The Goutelas Suite" (six parts, recorded April 27, 1971) and
"The Uwis Suite" (three parts, recorded October 5, 1972).
Although composed for and recorded with Jazz orchestra musicians, the album was released only in Ellington's name.
