- "Imaste dió" was one of the songs written by Mikis Theodorakis towards the end of the 1960s for Andreas Lentakis (1935-1997), a prominent member of the Greek. At the time of the Greek military junta of 1967–1974 this song, whose theme was the torture and isolation of a political prisoner, became a major rallying cry of the Greek left wing political groups.
