- March tune composed by Kerry Mills in 1899 at the beginning of the Ragtime era, with words later added by Murdoch Lind. It was first recorded by Vess L. Ossman in 1899 as a banjo rag. It evolved into a fiddle tune in the early 1900's, and often as a fast breakdown by bluegrass musicians.
