- Born to a wealthy family, he was an amateur musician. In the 1920´s his family came into a bankrupcy and Adolfo had to use his music skills for earning money. In 1927 he moved to USA and made his debut leading an orchestra in the famed "Embassy Club" at New York. He spent the rest of his life in USA, gaining notoriety with his "Don Pancho Orchestra." In 1942 he joined the Army.
