- Betty Cody was born in Sherbrooke, Canada but moved to Maine with her family when she was nine months old. In 1940 she joined Lone Pine and His Mountaineers and leter married their leader Harold "Lone Pine" Breau. Betty perfomed and recorded in both the United States and Canada. She was also an active radio performer.
