- Arranger and orchestra leader, who arranged for large dance orchestras including that of Andre Kostelanetz. During World War II he was leader of the Merchant Marine Orchestra in the New York City area. (Nelson Riddle was also with this orchestra.) In the 1950s he arranged and lead orchestras for several labels including Decca, MGM and Jubilee.
