Comments: The Shenandoah Valley Quartet consisted of Billy Edwards, John Palmer, Tater Tate, and Herschel Sizemore (all previously from Red Smiley's Bluegrass Cut-Ups). Edwards, Palmer & Tate had previously recorded as The Shenandoah Valley Trio. Jim Eanes joined them on this album. He and Edwards provided the lead vocals.

Note: Eanes later recorded albums billed as Jim Eanes and The Shenandoah Valley Quartet which was an unrelated band.
