In 1967, Seven Arts Productions acquired a controlling interest in Warner Bros. from Jack L. Warner. The acquisition included Warner Bros. Records plus Reprise Records. These were merged as Warner Bros. - Seven Arts Records. It was once again renamed Warner Bros. in 1969 after Kinney National Company bought the company.
