Forsyth started in show business as a child who sang and danced. Forsyth had a long career as a television presenter, game show host and personality which resulted his inclusion in the 2013 "Guinness Book of World Records" for the longest career as a male television entertainer (72 years). Forsyth has also appeared in film. He is also a singer and sometime pianist whose recording career goes back to 1959. Forsyth was knighted in 2011.
